Archive Luxury is a free service. We earn revenue through affiliate partnerships with the retailers featured on our site. This page explains exactly how that works.
When you click a “Shop This Deal” button on Archive Luxury and make a purchase at the retailer's website, we may earn a small commission from that sale. This commission comes from the retailer, not from you — you pay the same price whether you find the deal through us or directly.
We work with several major affiliate networks to facilitate tracking and commissions from authorized luxury retailers, including LTK (rewardStyle), ShopMy, BrandCycle, CJ Affiliate, Impact, Rakuten, and Skimlinks.
Skimlinks is an automatic-monetization service that may rewrite some outbound retailer links on Archive Luxury into affiliate-tracked links at the moment you click them. This applies to editorial mentions of retailer URLs that aren't already routed through our primary networks. The destination retailer, the price you pay, and the product itself are unchanged — only the click-tracking layer is added so the originating publisher (us) is credited if you complete a purchase. Skimlinks may set a session cookie when you click such a link.
Our deal selection is entirely pipeline-driven. Affiliate commission rates do not influence which deals we feature, how they are ranked, or whether they pass our quality gates. A deal from a 5% commission retailer receives the same treatment as one from a 12% commission retailer.
Commission rates vary by retailer and product category, typically ranging from 2% to 6% of the sale price. Because we specialize in discounted luxury, the rates we earn on sale items are generally lower than full-price affiliate commissions. These rates are set by the retailers and their affiliate networks, not by Archive Luxury.
