About the House
Founded in Madrid in 1846 as a leather workshop, Loewe became Spain's royal-warrant leather house in 1905. The Puzzle bag (2015), Hammock (2016), Flamenco clutch and Amazona luggage define current accessories. Jonathan Anderson led the house from 2013 through 2025 — among the most acclaimed creative tenures of the decade, building Loewe into a critical and commercial leader in craft-forward luxury. Proenza Schouler's Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez took creative direction in 2025. Owned by LVMH.
