Monitored retailers include Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Mytheresa, SSENSE, Net-a-Porter, Farfetch, Selfridges, Harrods, and 24 more. Only authorized retailers with direct brand relationships are tracked — no grey market, no resale platforms.
Gate 1 (Source Authorization) confirms the retailer is authorized and the product is new merchandise — not consignment or grey market. Gate 2 (Price History Validation) checks the discount against historical price data, rejecting inflated original prices, stale markdowns (items on sale for 3+ weeks), and discounts below 30%. Gate 3 (Editorial Review) categorizes the deal, assigns urgency tags (flash sale, historical low, low stock), and generates editorial context. Items above $2,000 receive manual review.
Every published deal shows: current sale price, original price, discount percentage, price history chart, retailer name, editorial note explaining why the deal is notable, urgency classification, category, and any active promo codes auto-detected from the retailer's site. Promo codes are checked every 2 hours. Deal expiry is checked every 15 minutes.
Users set alerts by brand, category, and target price. When a matching deal passes the three-gate pipeline, email subscribers are notified immediately. SMS subscribers receive a 30-minute head start before email notifications. Users can choose instant alerts, daily digests, or weekly summaries. Unsubscribe via any email link or the preferences page.
Every retailer on Archive Luxury has a direct brand relationship. Resale platforms (The RealReal, Vestiaire Collective, Rebag) were removed in April 2026. Only new merchandise from authorized sellers is featured.
If a product has been marked down for more than 3 weeks, the pipeline rejects it. Archive Luxury also filters inflated original prices and discounts below 30%. The goal is genuine price drops, not perpetual sales.
Archive Luxury earns 2-6% on sale items. A deal from a 2% commission retailer receives identical pipeline treatment to a 6% partner. Commission rates never affect ranking, visibility, or editorial notes.
Each deal page includes a price history chart showing how the price has changed over time. Users can distinguish a genuine historical low from a cyclical seasonal markdown.
