About the House
Founded in Vicenza in 1966 by Michele Taddei and Renzo Zengiaro, the house built its identity on intrecciato — a hand-woven leather weave introduced in the early 1970s when industrial sewing machines couldn't handle thicker leather. Tomas Maier led 2001-2018 with a quiet, logoless register; Daniel Lee's 2018-2021 tenure reset the codes with the Pouch, Cassette and Padded Cassette; Matthieu Blazy ran 2021-2025 producing some of the decade's most-discussed runways before moving to Chanel.
