“$765 for Gucci ready to wear at Yoox — 69% off $2,442. This is an unusually aggressive markdown for a heritage house. The Burgundy wool pant at this price point is worth serious consideration.”

Gucci Burgundy wool pant is currently $765 at Yoox, down from a verified MSRP of $2,442 — a $1,677 discount or 69% off. The current sale price reflects a real markdown against a real historical comparison price, not an inflated original. Prices are re-verified every 30 minutes; the price history chart on this page shows the full tracked timeline.
Gucci maintains pricing discipline on its core silhouettes (Horsebit 1955, Jackie 1961, GG Marmont in main colors) and lets seasonal/trend inventory rotate through markdowns. Verified Gucci sales at authorized retailers cluster around January EOSS and private-sale windows. The brand is also the single most common victim of inflated comparison prices at third-party retailers — always cross-check the displayed 'WAS' against gucci.com before trusting the discount math.
Luxury ready-to-wear has the steepest depreciation curve in the category — most pieces lose 60–80% of retail within a year on resale platforms. The exceptions: cashmere knits, silk basics, classic outerwear from disciplined houses (The Row, Jil Sander, Max Mara, Loro Piana). Cost-per-wear math separates the items that compound from the ones that do not.
This deal passed Archive Luxury's three-gate verification pipeline before publishing. Gate 1 confirmed Yoox as an authorized retailer with a direct Gucci relationship — no grey-market sellers, no resale platforms, no parallel imports without explicit landed-price disclosure. Gate 2 validated the 69% discount against historical price data: the original price comes from a named source field on the retailer's product feed (JSON-LD highPrice, compare_at_price, or equivalent), not from an estimated or fabricated comparison. Gate 3 classified the deal by category, urgency, and editorial fit. Items that fail any gate never reach this page; that's why the published deal count is smaller than what the underlying sources advertise.

Two checks before clicking through. First, confirm the silhouette and color are still in stock at Yoox — sale inventory moves fast, and our price re-verification runs every 30 minutes but stock can change between checks. Second, review the retailer's return policy if the fit, color, or material differs from what's described — luxury sale items often have shorter return windows than full-price merchandise. Authorized-retailer purchases like this one carry the brand's standard manufacturer warranty and qualify for brand-authorized repairs, which is a meaningful difference from grey-market or resale alternatives.
