What is the Bottega Andiamo bag?

The Andiamo is Matthieu Blazy's flagship Bottega top-handle, introduced in 2023. It features a sculpted intrecciato body with a structured base, a single rolled top handle, and a detachable shoulder strap. It is Bottega's most ambitious leather-craft showcase under Blazy's direction.

What is the Bottega Sardine?

The Sardine is the architectural Bottega shoulder bag with a rigid metal handle — the most-photographed Blazy-era silhouette. The construction features a flat-base intrecciato shell with the unmistakable cast-metal handle threaded through the top. Resale demand on Sardine has run consistently strong since release.

About This Edit

What you're looking at

The Andiamo and the Sardine are the two bags that define Matthieu Blazy's tenure at Bottega Veneta. The Andiamo — a sculpted top-handle in heavy intrecciato that arrived as Blazy's debut flagship — sits closer to a Bottega answer to the Birkin than to the Jodie hobo. The Sardine, with its rigid metal handle and architectural silhouette, became the most-photographed single bag of the Blazy archive. Neither discounts at bottegaveneta.com. When markdowns appear at authorized multi-brand retailers — Mytheresa, Net-a-Porter, Bergdorf, The Webster — it's on specific colorways outside the core fondant-camomille palette. Every listing on this page is a verified Andiamo or Sardine markdown at an authorized retailer, re-checked every thirty minutes against the retailer's own page.
