Does Saint Laurent ever put the Loulou on sale?

Ysl.com effectively does not. Authorized multi-brand retailers — Mytheresa, Net-a-Porter, Saks, Bergdorf — mark down specific Loulou colorways during end-of-season clearance in late January and late July. The deepest cuts usually land in the second week of each window and cap around 30–40% off retail.

What is Le 5 à 7 and why is it so hard to find on sale?

Le 5 à 7 is Saint Laurent's structured shoulder hobo, introduced in 2024 and named for the French expression for the early-evening hours. Strong primary-market sell-through across 2024–26 has kept authorized-retailer markdowns rare; when they appear, it's almost always at end-of-season on a less-favored colorway.

Are these from authorized retailers?

Yes. Every Loulou, Le 5 à 7, Niki, and Manhattan listing on this page is from an authorized Saint Laurent stockist — Mytheresa, Net-a-Porter, Saks, Bergdorf Goodman, The Webster, and others. We exclude gray-market resellers entirely. The retailer name appears below the price on each entry.

About This Edit

What you're looking at

Saint Laurent runs one of the tightest pricing operations in luxury bags. The Loulou — chevron-quilted lambskin, oversized YSL clasp — has held its $2,500–$2,950 retail anchor for six straight seasons, and the brand boutique on ysl.com effectively never marks it down. Le 5 à 7, the structured hobo that became the it-bag of the 2024–26 cycle, is even more disciplined; full-price sell-through has been strong enough that authorized markdowns rarely appear before late January or August clearance. Niki and Manhattan sit in the same posture. When these silhouettes do drop, it's at Mytheresa, Net-a-Porter, Saks, Bergdorf, or The Webster, on specific colorways the retailer overbought. Every listing on this page is a verified Loulou, Le 5 à 7, Niki, or Manhattan markdown at an authorized retailer, re-checked against the retailer's own product page every thirty minutes.
